Michael Jackson, who moon-walked above the music world, died at the age of 50 at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles at the age of 50. The “King of Pop” and the biggest scandalous celebrity in the world died the silent death. Though the circumstances of Jackson’s death are still not clear, but it is speculated that he died due to cardiac arrest.
Jackson’s death finally brought a tragic end to a long, weird, ludicrous decline from his peak in the 1980s. Started his career as a black singer, later turned into a white man for shattering the race barrier, he dominated the music charts on MTV and dazzled even more on stage. Till date his 1982 album “Thriller,” which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” is the best-selling album of all time by selling approximately 50 million copies worldwide.
This new generation pop sensation was known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves, and high-pitched voice. His single beaded glove, military-style jacket, and aviator sunglasses were his trademarks for very long time. Jackson was also ranked alongside Elvis Presley and The Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time and he united two biggest names in the music world by marrying Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie.
After undergoing numerous surgeries, Jackson became a freakish figure who was weirdly out of touch with grown-up life. Later, his skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. Jackson caused an uproar in 2002 when he dangled his infant son, Prince Michael II, over a hotel balcony in Berlin. Again in 2005, he was charged for molesting a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland and had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him.
Despite all odds, Jackson was preparing for his greatest comeback and he was scheduled for 50 shows at a London arena. Currently, he was rehearsing in Los Angeles for the concert and his fans were hoping to see his show-stopping dance moves, elaborate staging and, throbbing dance beats. As the news of his death spread, hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital. They all were waiting to verify the reports of Jackson’s death, which were running on Google’s news section.
Finally, it became official when his closed sources confirmed that King of Pop is no more. This sad news left everyone shocked and it’s like when Kennedy was assassinated. All we could say now is “Long Live The King The King Is Dead.”
